At waterbreak.shop, we ensure a secure and straightforward payment process. Please read the following details regarding payment methods, processing, and associated fees.
1. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept payments via Shopify Payments, which supports the following payment methods:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
- Discover
- Other payment methods supported by Shopify Payments (including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay)
We do not accept PayPal at this time.
2. Payment Process
- Checkout: After adding items to your cart, proceed to checkout. You will enter your payment information securely through Shopify Payments.
- Order Confirmation: Your order is confirmed only after successful payment authorization. You will receive an order confirmation email from us with order details.
- Funds Capture: Payment is captured at the time of order placement.
3. Pricing and Fees
- Product Price: All product prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD). Prices do not include taxes or shipping costs, which are calculated and shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
- Taxes: Applicable sales taxes (e.g., state and local taxes for West Virginia or other states) will be added at checkout based on the shipping address.
- Shipping Costs: We offer Free Standard Shipping on all orders – no extra shipping fees. You will see this reflected in your order total.
- No Optional/Hidden Fees: There are no optional fees, handling charges, or surprise costs. All charges are clearly presented during checkout.
4. Payment Cancellation and Refunds
Refund Method: All refunds are issued to the original payment method – the same credit card or payment method used for purchase. For payments processed through Shopify Payments, refunds will be returned via the same payment channel.
Non-Refundable Payment Fees: In the event of an order cancellation or refund, any fees charged by the payment processor or the bank (typically the transaction fee) are non-refundable. We clearly state that these third-party fees are retained by the payment provider and cannot be returned to the customer. For example, if you request a refund after payment, the product cost may be refunded, but any payment gateway fees incurred are not refundable by us as they are charged by the payment provider.
